To Make a Booking

You will be able to book a 4-hour moving in slot via the Amara City Gardens website booking forms (once enabled). Your login in details will be required to access the site, if you have not yet obtained your login details, please use the 'Request a Login" function on the Public landing page.

Once the booking has been requested you will receive an approval notification. If the time slot you requested is full, you will not be able to schedule your move in, please ensure you confirm the date and time frame with your removalist prior to booking. Once the booking has been requested you will receive an approval notification.

Lifts

There are two Passenger Lifts at Amara City Gardens;

  •  2 x Passenger Lifts located centrally to the building
  • 1275Kg limit per lift
  • Internal Dimensions 1500mm wide x 1940mm deep x 2200mm high and 2300mm diagonal
  • You will be required to swipe the entry fob inside the lifts to be taken to your level,  only this floor and the common level is accessible to you. 

To protect the lift against damage the lift covers will remain in place in order to minimise the possibility of damages. 

The occupier of the apartment must ensure that any person acting on their behalf does not hold the lift doors open and/or prevent the doors of the lift closing. If the lift doors are held open for an extended period of time, this will cause the lift to go into fault mode.  Should this occur, a lift technician will be required to reset the lift.

Standard move in period Monday to Saturday (only)
7am – 11am
11am – 3pm
3pm – 7pm

During this period you will be allocated 1 lift only. 

 

Please ensure the utmost care is taken when moving your items through the common areas.  Be careful not to damage lobby walls, common carpet or the lift. 

All boxes, cartons, containers, and general waste used or caused by the move in, must be removed by the occupier of the apartment/unit and nothing is to be left anywhere in the building, including the bin rooms. 

Do not drag heavy objects across the floor. It is recommended to use appropriate moving equipment to carry and transport all objects. 

 

Guidelines

a) Residents must make a ‘Move-in’ booking via the online portal prior to moving to arrange private access to 1 lift for 4-hours and confirm procedures including padding to lifts. As you would appreciate, there are several other owners also moving in, so keeping to a strict time schedule is imperative.
b) Priority lift keys will be provided by Strata Management and will need to be returned once you’re finished with the lift.
c) Removalist trucks are to park outside the building along Davy Street in the bays provided (Do not park on the pathway, as you will be responsible for any damages). All loading and unloading into the building shall be via the front entrance lobby. Please ensure consideration is taken whilst transporting heavy items across the lobby and entrance.
d) No doors are to be held, forced, or disabled in the open position during move-in or move-outs (including lift doors).
e) Please also make yourself familiar with the Strata By-laws, you can find this in your sales contract. Alternatively, please refer to the online portal where you can find a copy to review.
